My Favourite Poems From Open Link Night - Week 42

This is the first in a series of blog posts which will highlight three poets who have posted on Open Link Night each week.

If you don't know about Open Link Night go over to http://www.dversepoets.com and check out the place. Its a nest of crazy good poets all deserving of some amount of praise. Give it a look.

Anyway, on with proceedings,

Lingering by Francois Bergh - Known as @FrancoisBergh on Twitter
A great piece with a simple rhyme scheme, I read it and was captured by its brief and straightforward manner.

Cigfrân by Shan Ellis - Known as @Awdures on Twitter
I've long made no secret that I am a fan of Shan's work, and she gets better with every post. I'm a regular visitor to her blog, and if you're not, you should be.

The Polarity of Obfuscating Voices by Fred Rutherford
Brilliant piece with a brilliant audio accompaniment. Give it a read and tell me this guy isn't awesome.

  1. Very cool Adam. I think this is a great idea. Really glad you enjoyed my piece this week. OLN is an awesome site, but really all of the prompts at D'Verse really seem to inspire such wonderful poetic creations. Anyhow, thanks for including me here, and glad you enjoyed the piece. Hopefully you can keep doing this each week, would be kind of like Sportscenter for the Poetry world :)

    1. It's fine. Thought at the time it was a misunderstanding. I'm pretty keen on the idea to be fair. Any exposure I can give to others is worthwhile.
